Board Description
GLENDALOUGH LAKE,
This evocative, misty glen is a magical place. An old, abandoned monastery built around two dark lakes, surrounded by forests, it's a memorable sight. Its name is derived from the Irish Gleann Da Locha, meaning "The Glen of the Two Lakes." Things always seem to be in soft focus here as you wander the rocky paths beside the ancient chapels, and it exudes spirituality.
