Since Verock was a small child, his mother would dress him the most expensive attire that she could get her hands on. Growing up wealthy gave them this ability. His father owned various business and his mother worked from home, helping her father when things were needed. His mother, Autumn always had something to wear and she would only wear it once, applying this rule to Verock as well. Once Verock became a teenager, his mother slowly drifted away from her son, giving him space to form his own sense of style and what he would like.
At first, he wouldn't wear anything that was too expensive, believing that it was foolish to spend money on such things when there were several things that were needed besides expensive clothing that they would only wear once. Verock would wear a pair of jeans with a plain t-shirt, normally black or white. He'd throw on the occasional button down, but nothing too exciting. But this didn't last for long when he met the love of his life.
Her name was Lilly and she brought light to Verock's life, giving him something he hadn't had before. And with meeting her, he grew as a person. His sense of style changed drastically. He would spend hours getting ready when he knew that he was going to get to see her again. Instead of wearing jeans and a t-shirt, he began to dress himself nicely. He'd throw on jeans still, but he would wear fitted sweaters and coats when he went out, dressing nicer than usual. Lilly's parents were made of money, they were known for this and Lilly was always in her best attire, some of the most expensive clothing that there was. Verock continued to do this for some time, dressing to match whatever she was wearing.
After Verock was turned into a vampire, his attire didn't change much. The more money he gained from his years of being a vampire, the more he put aside as he bought more clothing, not giving much thought to them since Lilly wasn't around anymore.

- - - Verock Ethan Vars isn't your typical sadistic vampire who just wants human blood and will stop at nothing to gain this. Verock Ethan Vars has somewhat of a heart, whether it was beating or not. He had several different traits to him, though they were scattered and some people didn't truly understand him.
- - - perfectionism: Verock had a habit of trying to be perfect at everything that he did. Whether it was snapping a photograph of someone walking down the street or going into detailed instructions on how to do something. Verock would challenge himself to be the best whatever it was that was before, it could be the smallest or the biggest thing and he will strive for perfection. Verock could sit inside of his dark room and stare at a photograph, developing before his eyes and he's start over and change several times until he was able to get it just right, always tearing himself up on the inside in order to get the perfect thing that he was aiming for.If Verock has to constantly repeat himself in a project that he is working on just to get it perfect, he'll do so.
- - - perseverance: Verock is very dedicated to everything that he does, not stopping until it's finished. Verock has gone through many stages of his life, even though every project that came into his life, he would stand up and do it until it was finished. Verock is very interested in photography, doing his lifetime as a vampire through photography and he is very known, for his perseverance. During a shoot, he will aim and shoot several film and digital photographs trying to get the right one. He could spend up to twelve hours on one shoot, if not more, not ever getting tired. He'd spend days in his dark room, not bothering to feed at days at a time, ignoring everyone around him in his home. He'd stay there until he was able to gain the perfect shoot, for whatever it was.
- - - independence: Verock is not one for a company, he tends to shy off alone and stays far from interaction with anyone as much as possible, only bothering to actually have a conversation with a client or someone he works with. There has been times where beautiful woman would confront him and he'd have a night of bliss with them, only to forget their names in the morning. He'd photograph them, keeping the memory of them deep within himself. Verock had never really given much thought to someone around him constantly, a lover, a best friend, a mate. The thought didn't settle well with him, in fear he would lose himself through all of it.

Slade and Autumn Verock, rich members of a small community in Maine. They spent their time with large groups of other wealthy people, avoiding the poor. Their motto was simple, "feed the rich and fuck the poor", not showing much attention to anyone who had less than them. They were very blessed people, getting married when they were young and sharing their wealth with one another. After they were married for about six years, Autumn conceived what she thought was a baby girl, but this wasn't exactly the case. Autumn went through her pregnancy, believing that the girl inside of her was the only one that would be coming out - but during the night of delivery, things changed drastically. Not only did they get the girl that they wanted, but they also got a baby boy. Twins. Verock Ethan Vars and Madeline Abigail Vars, Verock being older than his sister by only minutes.
Verock grew up with money surrounding him, he could glance at something and his parents would give it to him without a second thought about it, not bothering to check their money balances. He always wondered if his parents were made of nothing but money, but instead they were thieves, something he wasn't quite sure he could understand yet. Madeline, Verock's twin sister and him were best friends, hardly ever being separated. When people would see Verock, they'd step around him and see the smaller sister smiling up at them with her dark brown hair. Verock was highly possessive and protective over his sister, not letting anyone too close to something that meant so much to him. Their relationship didn't cross the family and best friend line, though people questioned it at times.
Verock continued to grow up, spending all of his time with his twin sister, not bothering to make friends of his own and giving his sister his everything. They would swap stories of their days at school and if someone hurt Madeline, emotionally or physically, he'd try his best to kill them - though he would only get by with a punch or two. At the age of fifteen, Verock was beginning to become known for the way he protected his sister, his family eying this as if something was going on, but nothing ever was. Madeline soon faded away from Verock, when her mother started to throw boys who adored her in front of her, telling her that they would be her husband in the future and she needed to begin to see them for what they were. Verock was furious at this, not because he was jealous, but because he knew his sister was better than this. Verock tried his best to keep himself away from girls, not wanting to wind up like his sister, who was now dating several different guys not bothering to show him an ounce of attention.
One late evening, after a party with a few of his classmates from school Verock managed to get too intoxicated, not realizing anything around him or what he was doing. The next thing he knew, he was in the bedroom with a blonde girl, she was throwing herself at him and he accepted - willingly. Her name was Lilly and she became his world. Verock followed her everywhere. They had a night of bliss and realized that there was something special about he other and soon enough, Verock was becoming known for his love for Lilly. When someone spoke of Lilly or Verock, the others name was always in that sentence somewhere. Verock and Lilly continued to date until he turned the age of nineteen, she was eighteen at the time. They were out with Madeline, his sister and her boyfriend, and their parents. They had just seen a movie and they were going to their cars, only to be jumped by a gang of six hungry vampires.
Only Verock survived, that he could tell. He was torn away from his family and the love of his life. He wasn't sure what was happening when they drug him off throwing him inside of a older car, it smelt of death. From the back window of the car, he could see Lilly being bitten and his parents being drained of their blood, though he never did see Madeline or her boyfriend. Verock didn't have much time to try to get away with a taller vampire, a woman, grabbed him and bit him - though she did not just do that, she turned him as well. He awoke in a dark cellar beneath a large mansion, he assumed. Not really understanding what was happening until he realized he was different, far too different for words to describe. Verock managed to get away, only catching a few phrases and sentences, realizing he was a vampire.
Verock moved to Dublin after several years of being a vampire, he resided here after he heard a few other vampires that he had come across speaking that this was a good place to go, completely unaware of Forks, Washington. Verock lived in a medium sized manor on the outskirts of the town, beneath the forest, hidden from the world. He had a lot to find in himself, and he was beginning to realize a lot of things after be in Dublin.
