Clarissa's character concept is one that is malleable, and in progress, as I am yet undecided if I will try and bring the character to an active status without the 'patron' that this post is requesting or not -- which means that pretty much anything that is in her application at the moment can be negotiated, if something doesn't fit what you picture.
The basic idea for this sub-plot is my character, a human female (played by Natalie Portman), who has been, or will be (depending on how much you want to rely on back story or starting from scratch) as appealing to Patrick Galloway as Bella is to Edward. The main difference is that Patrick doesn't have the qualms of feeding on humans as Edward does, and would likely not start out (or ever develop, depending) with any of the emotional attachments that Edward had toward Bella, and Patrick would have enough self-control to register that if he drains the human dry in one go that he might not ever find anything as 'attractive' to his palette again, so keeping the human around for occasional feeding would be the more logical plan. (This is in reference to the fact that if the vampire has self-control, they can suck the poison back out of the wound, as referenced in the first book and movie, making it possible for a vampire to feed on a human more than once.)
The relationship between Patrick and Clarissa is negotiable, whether she is a willing participant or one kept out of fear, or a more practical sense of the promise of money, or power, or something can be worked out.
Clarissa is also a telepath. while not as powerful as Edward could still be seen as a useful tool, and between these abilities and her appeal to Patrick, a dispensation has been granted by the Volturi given the circumstances currently revolving around the Cullens, and Patrick has / will be given permission to keep Clarissa as his 'pet' for the time being.
Seeing as the position of Patrick is not yet taken, I am putting this up in hopes that someone will be further inspired to take on the role and work with me to flesh out the last bits of my character and jump on grid!
Feel free to contact me through pm or email at any point to discuss details.
Thanks,
Mandy
