- - - overall history,When Rosalie was a human, she was still beautiful in everyone's eyes. She had violet colored eyes and was constantly praised. She had two younger brothers, a housewife mother, and a father who worked at the bank that her soon-to-be fiance's family owned. She became engaged with Royce when Rosalie's father one day forgot his lunch at home. Her mother dressed her up, and sent her to her father's work with her father's lunch. That same day, was when Royce saw her and saw how beautiful she was.
One night, Rosalie went to visit her best friend Vera and her little son, Henry. She became envious of the love that was shared between Vera and her husband, as well as their little boy, and wondered why she can't have the same love with Royce. She brushed the thought away. As she gave her best friend a hug and a farewell, Vera insisted that her husband walk Rosalie home. Rosalie smiled and said that she will be okay on her own. She was on her way home when her drunk fiance and some of his drunk friends find her walking home alone, that they rape and beat her to the brink of death. Leaving her on the side of the road, Rosalie hurt everywhere, but she couldn't believe that what had happened, happened to her.
Carlisle found her on the side of the road and could not leave her there to die. So he brings her home and changes her into what she is now. During the days of her change, Rosalie would toss and turn on the bed. The burning in her would make her groan and moan when the flames were too painful to bare. She seemed to feel like someone was always with her...making sure that she heard them speak to her...soothing words would be spoken softly in her ear. On the fourth day, Rosalie woke up to voices...voices that were arguing...about Carlisle saving her. She heard someone say that it was a bad idea. Then she heard someone else say that there wasn't another choice. After the argument was over, Rosalie asked if she could see herself in a mirror. When Esme brought a mirror to her, Rosalie noticed her beauty had intensified. She was...beyond beautiful. All there was left now was to get revenge.
Rosalie killed every single man who touched her that horrible night. She saved Royce for last. She made sure during her revenge not to spill any of their blood, because she knew that she would not be able to stop herself from drinking their blood. When she was satisfied about her revenge, she went back to the Cullen's.
Rosalie was supposed to be a companion for Edward, but they both never saw each other that way, but just as brother and sister. She one day went out hunting when she found a man, Emmett, who was attacked by a bear. She brought him to Carlisle to save him. Emmett and Rosalie then fell in love. She did tell Bella that Emmett reminded her of Vera's son: Henry... dark curly hair, dimples and "the strange innocence that looked so out of place on a grown man's face".
