[/blockquote] Edward stared out of the back window of his home, looking over the forest as the rain picked up, splashing onto the window causing drops to slide down to the pane of it. He watched as if it was the most interesting. Bella was out with Esme, he assumed and Renesmee was probably with Jacob. Edward dropped his head, one hand placed over his mouth as he began to think. So much had changed in such a short time, or so it felt. With being a vampire, time passed, years felt like days and days felt like seconds. It was hard to grasp hold of the time and just cherish it for what it was worth. It could remember how things were back in Forks, Washington and he couldn't deny that he missed being there sometimes. It was home, in some way, it felt normal. Edward's life had changed in Forks and it will always have some special meaning to him, always. Edward walked over to a large white leather couch that Alice had bought to decorate the house with and Edward happened to sneak it up into his bedroom with Bella. He liked it, it had a nice touch to it and with Alice's fashion sense, it was beautiful. Edward sat on the leather couch, placing an old leather journal in his lap, flipping open to the middle of it. He had read this journal several times, memorizing everything that he had written in it. It was the first year he had met Bella and how their life had been together in Forks. Everything from the first time he ever saw to when he had to save her from the sadistic vampire, James. Edward's face turned to pain as he closed the journal. Even though Edward and Bella were finally together, both of them being vampires, it still pained Edward to remember the painful times such as this one. Edward rose from the couch and picked up his black pea coat that was lying across and arm chair in the room. He scooped it up and slid it around his body, tucking it around the front of him as he walked out of the bedroom, keys in hand. He had changed his car since he left Forks. Edward ran his fingers through his hair as he hurried down the staircase, he stopped for a moment once he reached the bottom realizing that he was in fact alone in the large home. He smiled, thinking of his Bella traveling around town with Esme shopping just as Alice would. He loved being with such a family as this one, it was something he would never give up. No matter what. With one last glance around him, he headed out of the back of the home and towards the long driveway that led up to the driveway where his car, the Lamborghini Reventon was at. It was the most expensive car in the world, but it wasn't like he had money problems or anything. Once Edward reached the car, he looked up at the building storm above him. He sighed and slid inside of the car, before he got wet by the dropping rain. The drive into town was short since Edward never actually went to speed limit. Edward drove down the ally, cutting through it to get to the street over, where the cafe he was searching for would be at. He would do some shopping while he was out, this he was sure of. He wanted to pick Bella up something and maybe something for Renesmee. He figured they would both enjoy them, depending upon the gift of course. Edward parked the car and pulled himself out of it, the rain had let up for the time being giving Edward enough time to run to the nearby bookstore and grab a book before he went back to the cafe. Of course he wasn't human and couldn't exactly order anything from there, but being there made him feel human and the cafe had a nice touch to it, one he enjoyed sitting at for hours on end. Edward opened up the bookstore front door and slide inside, it wasn't too busy but he noticed a set of girls staring at him as if he was a god walking on earth. He turned his head the opposite direction and approach the counter, smiling at the woman who sat behind it. "Edward Cullen, I have a pick up." He smiled at the woman who was scrambling for words. "I believe I called it in a few weeks ago, if the order isn't here yet, I can come back another time?" He offered pushing off the counter as he adjusted his position. The woman shook her head and smiled, hurrying to the back stock room where he assumed the orders would be. Edward waited, his eyes tracing over parts of the store. It wasn't long before the woman appeared in front of him, a bag with four books inside of it. "Forty-five, sixty three." She smirked handing the bag to Edward. Edward took it and placed a fifty dollar bill on the table, shaking his hand. "Keep the change," He offered and walked out of the shop, leaving the woman to her thoughts of how flawless he was. Edward got this often, though he never paid much attention to it. Edward finally stepped inside of the cafe as he looked around noticing familiar faces, as well as new ones. The staff here had gotten used to him coming in and ordering a coffee, though never actually drinking it. "The usual?" Called a tall man from behind him. Edward nodded with a smile as he walked to the back of the cafe, to a small table with two chairs and a small lamp sitting in the middle of the table, perfect for reading. The man was standing in front of him within minutes, handing him is coffee and telling him it would be four dollars and something cents. Edward threw a ten down, but never let his eyes shift from the pages in his book that was already opened in front of him. "Change?" The man asked, Edward shook his head as he continued to read, tuning every ones thoughts out. - - - - - - - - - - - -

“Still raining.” Alice looked out the window of one of the clothing shops she was in. It wasn't uncommon for it to rain in Dublin but it reminded Alice a lot of forks. The overcast was the same. Rich gray clouds hovering in the sky. With such amount of rain it was no wonder why Dublin was so rich with green plants. It was beautiful really but a little peek of the sun really wouldn't hurt anyone, not even a vampire. She was indoors after all, not like she had much to worry about. The rain was making it somewhat difficult for her, Alice felt like she was beginning to run out of things to do on a rainy day. Shopping was number one on the list but the racks of clothing in the stores always seemed to be the same and on top of that, she could only go into so many stores each day so people wouldn't question at least her sanity. Brushing her fingers over a couple of shirts and looking at the tags, none really appealed to her so it was time to move on to the next shop. Deciding she finally had enough of the clothing stores Alice opened the door and removed her umbrella. It was pouring now and even the umbrella didn't seem to be enough to protect herself from the rain drops that consumed all of Dublin. With every bit of protection she had, Alice sped walk to the Avoca Cafe shop. She managed to walk fast enough to escape the rain and to not be questioned, and on top of that looking graceful at the same time.
Her brown boots clunked against the sidewalk and Alice smiled at the occasional stranger who made eye contact. Sometimes she would offer a 'hello' but speaking usually left the mortal speechless. Perhaps maybe her voice was so soft and delicate that they couldn't hear her, or maybe it was the fact that to their ears she most likely sounded like a bird singing the most beautiful melody. Alice was used to this by now. It had been years since she was changed and she nearly forgotten how most people viewed them; the Cullens. They were like angels sent down to bless the humans eyes. Many of which would rub to make sure their visions were correct. They were indeed seeing the most beautiful beings alive, they were vampires. Alice reached the cafe and extended her petite hand to open the door. The smell of coffee and muffins filled the air along with a rather distinct familiar smell. Alice gave a small wave to the workers behind the counter indicating that she was all set and an order wasn't needed. Alice turned her head looking at the corner of the cafe. There was a figure sitting there, their nose deep within a book. Edward. Alice smiled and headed over to her brother. She stood behind the chair, perching her tiny hands on the frame of it. “This seat taken?” Alice chirped but before Edward voiced anything Alice pulled out the chair and sat down.
That was the difference for Alice and Edward compared to the rest of the family. They all had special abilities but Alice's and Edwards practically went hand in hand. They both didn't need to speak to actually talk to one another. They simply just understood. Edward helped Alice a lot, especially when it came to her love, Jasper. Jaspers self control was a lot weaker than the rest of the family and Bella being turned into a vampire didn't seem to help any. In fact, perhaps made it worse. After seeing how Bella was in control just after she was turned made Jasper question himself and overall what kind of vampire he was. Alice needed Edward to tell her how exactly Jasper was feeling and when to just leave her soul mate alone and let him be. In return, when Edward was having a hard time 'reading' Bella's mind, Alice was there to tell him why he couldn't. The reason he was having such a hard time reading it was because she was a gift to him. There was a reason he couldn't read her mind and the reason came very clear later on. A smile was still planted on Alice's lips as she leaned forward with her elbows on the table. Alice sat up from her chair a bit as if she was an eager child wanting to know a secret. “What are you reading there?” She practically sang, “Anything good?” Alice was sure it was, Edward always had good taste in novels.

[/blockquote]Edward went from line to line in the book that was before him, it was interesting. He had gotten this book solely for the fact that someone had mentioned it and there were wolves and a kid in it - the thought reminded him of his Renesmee and he felt the need to read it, in some wicked way. Edward didn't look from his book as a few ladies walked by and headed towards the rest room, he smirked at their whispers though. Always so curious, humans were of his kind. Always wanting to ask question and approach, though none of them actually dare approach any of them - unless they were incredibly confident. Being in the cafe and having girls walk by him and stare brought his mind to Bell and he was so curious of where his love was and where Rensemee was. Since the almost battle with the Volturi back in Forks years ago, Edward kept tabs on what was going on with them the best way he could without getting himself noticed. He didn't want to worry the rest of his family with the thoughts he was having or worry them with the plan of find information out, something felt all too wrong. Though he was sure that one member of his family could understand his concern and he could discuss it with them without speaking, which was nice too. Edward breathed out slowly, making it apparent that he was just like the others in the cafe, minus the fact that his coffee was untouched and was beginning to get colder and colder as the minutes went by. Edward adjusted in his seat so that it didn't appear he was sitting in the same position for too long and just as he placed one hand over his lap and the other across the book a scent filled the room that was familiar, Alice. Edward smiled, but never picked up his head as he continued to read, listening to the thoughts of the others around them that were thinking of Alice and how beautiful she was. One of them nearly came over to her as she walked, thinking of offering her a cup of coffee but decided against it when she was making her way over to Edward. "Afternoon Alice," Edward said glancing up at her, she was gorgeous just as he was and these two stuck out like sour thumbs in this small cafe. Edward let out a small laugh as the man behind the counter grumbled under his breath and threw a rag down onto the counter, he wasn't too happy. Though there was nothing going on between Alice and Edward, but it did make people keep their distance when the Cullens were together in pairs such as this one. "I believe I just helped you escape an awkward conversation for the boy over there," He laughed nodding his head towards the boy in question, one who kept glancing over here every few seconds. "How are you doing?" He asked her, closing the book now and placing it on the table between them, giving her his attention now. "White fang, I believe." He said glancing from the book and back up at Alice, the smile not leaving his face. Edward shrugged slightly as he adjusted once more in the seat, "It's alright, so far. Though I'm only four chapters in. I haven't had much time to get through it when you came in," He said nodding his head towards the door. "Anything exciting going on with you today?" He asked leaning forward now and relaxing his muscles. Edward glanced over at a group of girls who were eying Alice and Edward as if they were truly angels sent from above. Just at the sight of Edward glancing caused them all to blush a bright red and turn their attention back to their coffee and tea. He heard one of the mumble something of embarrassment but he turned it out and looked back at Alice, with a smile. - - - - - - - - - - - -

“Good afternoon Edward.” Alice beamed, ”I believe I just helped you escape an awkward conversation for the boy over there.” Edward chuckled and nodded to the boy. Alice followed Edwards gaze and locked target with the boy who looked rather annoyed now. Alice felt bad so to boost his confidence a wee bit she gave him a tiny wave with her fingers. The boy automatically began looking around at his co-workers to make sure the wave was indeed directed at him. When the conclusion finally hit him, his cheeks turned scarlet and he pretended to go back to work. Alice's pixie like face turned from the boy with a smile and back at Edward, “Poor kid.” She said softly. If only he knew his infactuation was with someone who could pose a horrible threat to. Sure, Alice was no killer but even though she looked like a delicate flower, her grip would of proved otherwise. One tiny unplanned hug for the boy would most likely mean several broken bones. Alice had got better though, with some several practices on the human Bella.
”How are you doing?” Edward asked as he closed the book and placed it on the table. Alice's golden eyes scanned over the cover. There was a wolf and what appeared to be a young boy together. “Jack London, hm.” Alice brought her index finger to her pouty lips as if she was in deep thought. “That's the writer from the States, right?” Like Edward and most of the Cullens, Alice enjoyed reading. It was one of the best ways to pass time and on top of that a way to take them out of the world they were in and into one from the past perhaps. Maybe a time they remembered. Or the future, to give them a laugh at how much the humans think things will change. After being alive for hundreds of years, you slowly see the progression of time and the humans always thought that things would happen so soon. Like having to move to a different planet or something. Alice shook her head at the silly thoughts and finally responded to Edwards question. “I'm doing very well thanks. Running out of places to take cover though.” Alice looked outside at the rain that was pouring, it trickled down the windows and blurred the lights on the streets. “Hence running into you.” Her charming smile appeared again.
”Anything exciting going on with you today?” Edward was leaning forward a bit and his eyes wandered across the room. Alice didn't need to look because her keen sense of hearing revealed it all. The girls were whispering to one another quickly with slight pauses in-between to look at the two some more. ”Do you think they're models? “ One girl suggested. ”Yeah I think I saw them in a magazine I got at the book store.” another added. Alice began to giggle at their predictions of the two. Edward seemed to be getting a kick out of it as well judging by the smile on his face when he looked back at Alice. “Models.” Alice quoted. “Not once has anyone glanced at us and guessed vampire.” Alice gave a small chuckle. “That's good though!” Alice outstretched her hand idly and began to open the book cover and close it for simple amusement. “I don't think I would want to move again, not so soon anyways. Dublin's nice, rainy. Reminds me a lot of forks don't you think?” Alice raised an eyebrow at Edward out of curiosity. Forks held a lot of memories for all of the Cullens. It was the one place where they settled down and was able to stay the longest. One place where they could actually call home. A lot of things happened in that small town. Alice couldn't decide which outweighed the other; the good or the bad?

[/blockquote] Edward watched as Alice's fingers waved over towards the boy who was working, he could see how it made him feel and by his thoughts, he couldn't help let out a soft laugh. "Alice, I think you have interrupted his entire day with a slight wave like that," He joked, "From the sounds of it, he's trying desperately not to make a fool of himself as he brews the coffee." This kind of stuff happened so often it became a routine to read other peoples thoughts and what they thought of him, his sister, Alice, and he rest of the Cullen family. It wasn't like they could go into a room and go unnoticed, no matter where they went, they would be noticed in some way or another. Edward didn't mind this too much, he rarely paid too much attention to it, he would normally hear the thought and disregard it, unless it was about his precious Bella. Even after all the years of being with Bella, he still became jealous when other men noticed her and made a point to have her notice them. He knew that Bella would only have eyes for him, but regardless, he didn't like his Bella being eyed in such a manner. "I will have to let you know how it finishes out and if you might enjoy it," He shrugged watching her hand flip the cover over and then closed again. The sole purpose he bought the book was because of the wolves and the boy, yes, Renesmee was a girl, but still. The point still stood, in some way. Ever so often, Edward would glance outside of the cafe at the rain pouring down. It appeared that it would never let up at this point. "I believe that it is, yes." He smiled and nodded in agreement to her question. Edward grinned and nodded in another agreement with Alice, "Yes, it appears that the rain won't be letting up anytime soon. Taking shelter him for the time being is nice though, the place is comfortable." He told her, glancing around the cafe and then settling his eyes back on Alice. It was nice to spend time with a member of his family, it was nice to spend time with Alice especially. Alice and Edward were the closest, and he could open up to Alice easier than the rest. "I'm glad that you're doing well, how is Jasper?" He asked raising an eyebrow, his face full of curiosity. Edward hoped that Jasper was good, he knew that here lately he was having struggles with himself and what was going on. Bella had accepted being a vampire so easily, not harming humans, but for Jasper it was much harder for him. He sat there, running thoughts and memories over and over again in his head until Alice spoke up and he smiled, He laughed with her, not bothering to turn back towards the girls. He smirked. Edward sighed and nodded with Alice, he wouldn't deny that he missed Forks. It was one of the only places that felt truly like home and he wished that he could go back, at some point. "I like it, yes. It's a nice place for us to stay," He said glancing around the cafe and out of the glass doors and windows that were in the front of the cafe. "It reminds me a lot of Forks too," He said relaxing as he leaned back in his chair. "I miss Forks, don't you?" He asked Alice, his face expressionless. So much had happened in Forks, good stuff as well as bad things. Edward let his mind wonder off to the realm of memories, so many overlapping one another until the memory of Bella and Edward in the meadow settled in. He sat there for some time, just thinking of everything that happened that day. Everything that was said and every detail that was part of that, he remembered it all. Edward glanced down and then back at Alice, nodding once more, "I agree, I would rather not move for some time,"- - - - - - - - - - - -

"Alice, I think you have interrupted his entire day with a slight wave like that, from the sounds of it, he's trying desperately not to make a fool of himself as he brews the coffee." This time Alice spared the boy and didn't turn around. She only laughed at Edwards comments and raised her hands in the air as if she was surrending. “I'm sorry, I forget these things and I'm just trying to be friendly.” Alice smiled at Edward mischievously. Edwards attention fell back onto the book "I will have to let you know how it finishes out and if you might enjoy it," Alice nodded, “I would like that. I've been searching for a good book lately that doesn't involve vampires.” Alice sighed which made her dark hair raise a little before it fell back down against her tiny face. “It seems that's the only thing that's on the shelves lately. I've been to Waterstone book shop in hopes of finding something decent but to only find the typical story of a vampire who burns in the sun.” Alice couldn't help but to giggle a bit. Alice loved all types of stories, she would read anything from horror to fantasy. Reading about your own kind got boring though, especially since half of the stuff the authors put down wasn't even true. If only they knew that vampires didn't sleep in coffins. The mere fact they didn't sleep at all. Their idea of a vampire bursting into horrific flames was the exact opposite...They sparkled, like the rare diamonds they were.
"I'm glad that you're doing well, how is Jasper?" Edward raised his brow at her out of curiosity. Alice gave a small shrug of her shoulders. “He seems to be doing all right. We were at The Stags Head the other day and you know that place. It swarms with both vampires and humans alike. He did seem to tense up at times but was able to not let it get to him.” Alice leaned back in her chair and crossed her arms over her chest. “I still worry, though. I can see it in his eyes, he's fighting himself more so than ever.” Alice's golden eyes dropped from Edward to the wooden floor of the cafe. She stared deeply at the couple of marks the chairs created. “I guess only time will tell.” She looked back up at Edward with concern in her eyes.
Edward sighed and gave a slight nod at Alice "I like it, yes. It's a nice place for us to stay," His eyes wandered about the room taking it in. "It reminds me a lot of Forks too," He as he leaned back in his chair as well"I miss Forks, don't you?" There was no doubt in her mind that she did. Forks did hold a lot of memories for each of the Cullen's. “Yeah I do.” She said softly “But this place is going to hold new things for us. I can see it.” And that was true. Before they came to Dublin Alice would have visions of family residing here. She saw the Galloways and their smiling faces. Treating the Cullens like they always had, like family. She saw the wolves too, but always when she saw them their faces look concerned and that's when Alice's visions would go blurry and she would come back to reality. Of course, Alice didn't know what to think of it yet. There was many reasons for the Irish wolves to be concerned and one of the primary reasons was Jacob. “Lots of places for me and Bella to shop here, that's always a plus.” Alice grinned to lighten the mood a bit.

[/blockquote] "I'm sure that is all it takes," He said in regards to her being friendly comment. Alice was always friendly and welcoming and that was what he liked about her. Vampires had a way of being alone and dark and quiet brooding and what not. But Alice? Absolutely not. Alice appeared to be the exact opposite of a vampire, minus the whole incredibly beautiful feature of course. Edward nodded, "I agree. Every time I try to find an interesting novel, I always come across these books about vampires. It's kind of an insult to us, in a way." He joked with a shrug of his shoulders. Edward could agree with Alice about the amount of vampire books that were out there. There were several. He had managed to read a few of them, but always put them down halfway through ad never returned to the novel. It was always the same plot line. Vampire, evil brooding vampire, who might in fact have a soul, falls in love with either another vampire or a human, or some kind that they shouldn't, but their relationship couldn't go into the light, because this vampire in question would burn and turn to ashes. Edward rolled his eyes at his thought and looked back over at Alice, "We should probably just write our own," Which he was entirely joking. Edward focused hard on Alice's features as she spoke of Jasper and how their evening had gone. He felt terrible for Jasper and Alice. Jasper had always had a hard time managing his thirst for humans, but he did keep it under control. It was easier now for him to keep his control since Bella was a vampire now and he did not have to constantly smell her when she would come over to the house. " He seems to be doing all right. We were at The Stags Head the other day and you know that place. It swarms with both vampires and humans alike. He did seem to tense up at times but was able to not let it get to him." Edward nodded and leaned forward, his elbows propped up on his knees. "Have you noticed if he has been . . . getting close?" He asked Alice, trying not to step on too many touchy subjects at once. "Where is at now?" He asked glancing out the large windows in the front of the cafe and back at Alice, trying to read her face and thoughts for some sign of Jasper getting too close to the forbidden line. Edward nodded and let the conversation of Jasper go elsewhere for the time being. He nodded and then turned his expression downward, staring at the floor. He didn't give the thought too much emphasis as he turned back up at Alice and laughed, "As long as there is shopping, Alice Cullen can live anywhere." He smirked lightly. Edward laughed at the thought of Bella standing in a wardrobe room, Alice handing her all sorts of clothing to try on and be Alice's little model. He shook his head and stared up at Alice, "How has the shopping been between the two of you? Good, I hope?" He inquired. Edward adjusted his posture and glanced up at a waitress who was approaching them. "Can I get you guys anything else?" Edward shook his head and and waved one hand, "I'm quite alright, Alice?" He said turning the focus of the waitress onto Alice. Once the waitress was walking away, Edward leaned forward once more, "How have your visions been lately?" He asked her. Alice had a special gift, one that several people wished they had. Edward tried to read Alice's mind, so curious on what was going on inside that head of hers and if she managed to have any visions of any threats, or of Jasper crossing that line. - - - - - - - - - - - -

Alice giggled at Edwards suggestion of the two writing their own. “We could but unfortunately I'm sure we would spend so much time on it that half of our readers would have withered with age come time for the second book to roll around.” Alice's bright white teeth shone slightly. It's not like she was joking about the death of humans, really just making light of it. She knew and quite frankly they all did that death was just natural. People they've seen of the mortal world have come and gone, only their marks being left behind. The bit of joy of being a vampire was that they got to see these people. See how each president had come and gone, how each one differed from the rest. How the climate was slowly but surely changing and how each generation had its effects on it. In the beginning it was weird for Alice of course. She would go into a shop and have the workers greet her with a hello and as each day went by it was like she could slowly see them aging and she felt guilty because she was not aging at all. Alice would stay young and beautiful forever. Alice would also possess the knowledge and intelligence of the eldest living mortal which didn't seem fair. Her thoughts were interrupted by Edwards voice ringing in her head she looked at him to find his lips were moving and he wasn't talking to her through his mind.
He positioned himself now so that his elbows were propped on the small Cafe table. He looked at her intently "Have you noticed if he has been . . . getting close?" he paused as if he was choosing each word carefully "Where is at now?" Alice's nose scrunched a bit at the thought. Jasper was getting too close. “Well, I'm not sure exactly. I mean, he's getting harder for me to read.” Her expression seemed kind of helpless. “His aura's are changing, it's like he tries his best for me to stay calm and happy but even that falters.” Alice scanned Edwards face, he too had concern in his eyes. “I'm not sure how long it will...how long he can hold on.”
"It is nice here, I mean we have another family that are exactly like us, so it's nice to have others to talk to," Alice's spirit lightened at the mention of the other family. The Galloway's were kind vampires and nice to the Cullens. It was no wonder really that Carlisle was friends with them, they shared a lot of similar qualities and were just as welcoming as they were. "As long as there is shopping, Alice Cullen can live anywhere." Alice gave a rather girlish giggle at Edwards comment. The sad thing is it was true. She would be fine anywhere as long as the placed carried a decent clothing line. "How has the shopping been between the two of you? Good, I hope?" Alice's eyes lit up a bit. “Oh you wouldn't believe what a difference there has been!” Alice sat up in her chair with the sudden perk of emotion. “She is even going out on her own now shopping, I don't have to pester her to come with me.” She grinned at the past memories of Bella practically pleading Edward to save her from the hellish shopping trips. “She even asks for my opinion on the outfits she picks out. Bella's taste it surely improving.” Alice gave an agreeing nod.
Edward adjusted his posture and glanced up at a waitress who was approaching them. "Can I get you guys anything else?" Edward shook his head and and waved one hand, "I'm quite alright, Alice?" He said turning the focus of the waitress onto Alice. Alice was a little embarrassed since she didn't even realize the waitress was coming. That was what happened though when you got Alice on the topic of clothes. Alice smiled kindly at the waitress and waved her hand “Oh no thank you, I'm all set.” The waitress returned the smile and nodded before she found her way to another table. Alice focused back on Edward as she leaned forward to the table as well "How have your visions been lately?" Alice squinted her eyes, “Not very clear actually.” Alice began to tap her fingers gently on the table top “Everything has been blurry, sometimes I see the Galloway's they always seem to have an odd smile when I see them...”She paused a moment, “I guess I can only wait and see what it all means. They're so hard to read.”

[/blockquote]Edward laughed along with Alice at the thought of them writing a book. If they were to write a book, it would be long, detailed and he wasn't quite sure if a human could keep up with everything. They had gone through several different times and this was the most modern of it, but they still had their previous roots when it came to speaking and their mannerisms, something Bella had noticed about Edward. He couldn't help but let a smile form across his face at the thought of his Bella. Edward had gone through different times, watching as the people around him would age and soon pass onto the afterlife, if there was an afterlife. Edward always questioned this, was there a God? And if there was, what would he do to vampires, like himself? Would he punish them for what they were? Regardless if it was any of their choice? Edward continued to concentrate on this thought, his surroundings slowly dissipating as he let his thoughts wonder, getting more in depth with them. The thought of God was a hard subject for Edward to truly understand. Did he have a soul? Or when he was turned. did he come soulless? There were so many questions Edward wanted answers for. Carlisle, the father figure of the Cullen family had always believed in God and said that there was a God, but it was still hard for Edward to grasp this and believe in it. Vampires were a touchy subject on the religious basics, which was why Edward had picked up another book which was in the bag beside him on the floor, it was speaking of different religions and explaining certain things about them. Edward wanted to know more about them, more about the future if things were to go elsewhere. Edward read each feature on Alice's face, trying to read her before she ever actually spoke. Which he could do by simply reading her mind, but he wanted to read her thoughts, her words, and especially her emotions that were surfacing upon her face. Edward listened to Alice speak, examining every word that fell out of her mouth: " Well, I'm not sure exactly. I mean, he's getting harder for me to read... His aura's are changing, it's like he tries his best for me to stay calm and happy but even that falters... I'm not sure how long it will...how long he can hold on..." Edward sighed and shook his head. He knew that for Jasper it was always terribly hard for him to control himself around humans, lapsing every now and then.He remembered the incident when Bella was a human and cringed at the thought of Jasper hurting Bella, but he knew that he couldn't control it and Bella was in fact okay in the outcome of it. "We'll need to keep a closer look on him, Alice, if not for humans well being but especially for his own. I don't think he could handle harming a human, not after so long of him not feeding on them." He whispered softly, making it certain that Alice was the only one to hear him. Edward put a hand over Alice's and squeezed softly, assuring her. "I'll do everything that I can to help him, Alice. If I sense something in his mind where he might falter soon, we'll stop it before it happens, don't worry." He said trying his best to assure her and keep her emotions down. Edward meant every word that he said, he would be there for Jasper, reading his thoughts trying to make sure he didn't hurt a human or himself in the process of it. Edward was taken back by Alice's instant emotion change, she went from worried and concerned to ecstatic at the sound of Edward's voice mentioned shopping. He grinned, he enjoyed seeing the people he loved so happy. "Oh you wouldn't believe what a difference there has been! . . . She is even going out on her own now shopping, I don't have to pester her to come with me . . . She even asks for my opinion on the outfits she picks out. Bella's taste it surely improving. . . " Edward shook his head, a smirk across his face. "I'm so glad that Bella has finally come around and enjoys shopping with you, I can see that you enjoy it very much." He said nodding his head in her direction, "She talks about shopping with me, she brings up different styles and I sit there and think all of this was because of you," He grinned, "You've given some light in her, in the style department, as you would say," Edward joked running a hand through his hair. He mentioned with a brow raised with curiosity. He laughed. The Galloway family of vampires had always been very nice to the Cullens, all of them. Though there was something very off about them. Edward had yet to place what it was, but he would eventually. But hopefully - it wouldn't be too late. "Not very clear actually. . . Everything has been blurry, sometimes I see the Galloway's they always seem to have an odd smile when I see them. . . I guess I can only wait and see what it all means. They're so hard to read. . ." Edward frowned at her words, she was having blurry visions? Could this possibly be because of the wolves? "Is it because of the wolves, or is it something else Alice?" He asked, his tone changing to slight concern. As she went on to speak of the Galloway's and their 'odd smile', Edward adjusted and gave her an odd expression, "An odd smile? That's strange," He said looking off into the other direction, himself deep in thought. - - - - - - - - - - - -

Edward was now frowning at her, clearly understanding the difficulty she was going to. She wished her visions would come as clear as day but they usually didn't until, well, until the person finally made up there mind on what they were going to do. It sucked on Alice's behalf since she would see people do something one moment and think that was it. They were going to do that and she would have to tell the others, but shortly after the person would either change their mind or add more to their decision. Alice had finally learned not to tell her family the unnecessary stuff. To tell them, yeah this might be happening but I'm not positive. She didn't like seeing her family fret when they didn't need to.
"Is it because of the wolves, or is it something else Alice?" His tone was concerning. He sounded so much like a father then again, that was probably due to Renesmee. Edward was much mature before but it seemed like when Renesmee was born he matured to a different level. He made sure not to do anything that would put his wife, Bella and Renesmee in danger whatsoever. He didn't want to take any chances now that he had his own little family. "An odd smile? That's strange," He added shortly afterward. Alice nodded her head. "I'm not sure if it involves the wolves. It could quite possibly, I mean...I've been seeing them more and more around town and stuff. Occasionally catching their eyes on me like they're watching my every move. I'm not sure if I should feel safe or concerned about that." Alice paused biting her bottom lip as she tried to decipher what it all meant. "I mean, I doubt the wolves would do anything to us. They would go against everything they stood for. Even if we weren't their most favorite of people. They wouldn't hurt us for no apparent reason." Alice stated as she leaned back in her chair, placing her pale arms on the arm rest.
"The Galloway's, though." She paused as if unsure if she should say what she was going to. Alice really didn't know the Galloway's. Connor was probably the only one she had much of a conversation with, if you could even call it that. Carlisle was probably the only Cullen that actually knew them but for some reason Alice was getting the feeling that even Carlisle wasn't too sure about them anymore. When they first came to Dublin the Galloway's were much too friendly. They greeted them all with open arms and acted like they were long lost family. As the days went on their, 'one happy family' attitude gradually began to change. Of course, slowly. Only ways if you really payed attention would be able to see. Thankfully Alice did have the visions, it provided as a warning. Usually if her visions were bad, they were going to get worse.
"My visions lately have slowly swept from the Galloway's as a whole and focused primarily on Aisling..." Alice squinted her eyes at Edward, "Do you know anything about her? What she is like, what she is capable of?" Alice asked, somewhat hopeful. For her it felt like she was running in the dark. She didn't know Aisling and wasn't sure if Alice was just getting a misinterpretation of the girl. Whatever it was, Alice didn't like it.
