- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -WELL I WAS SITTING, WAITING, WISHINGYOU BELIEVED IN SUPERSTITIONS, THEN MAYBE YOU'D SEE THE SIGNS - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - The weather outside was cloudy and dreary, what one might say is a normal day in Dublin. Ireland rarely saw the sunshine, it was always overcast and drizzly, of course, this suited the Cullen’s perfectly, the less sunlight, the better. It was one thing that Bella missed when she became immortal. Living in Arizona for a couple of years had given her a liking for the sun, she wasn’t a sun worshipper – someone who would spend they’re entire day laying out in it, but it had to beat being cold? Well that perception changed when she moved to Forks, it was the wettest place in the continental US.
Life in Dublin had started out pretty well, the Cullens settled into a new house, it was very similar to the one they used to own in Forks, the furniture was pretty much the same, it was minimalistic but always had a “homey” feel to it, that of course was down to Esme, she always made sure that the house was tidy and that everyone felt comfortable. Bella had moved into a house down the street with Edward and Renesmee, things were as perfect as they had ever been, in fact they seemed to be better. Her relationship with Edward remained unchanged she was still madly, truly and deeply in love with him, even now after almost a decade together, he still took her breath away. Of course her relationship with Renesmee was still great, although she was beginning to spend more time with Jacob, Bella felt safe in knowing she was hanging around him and not someone else. Although she still wasn’t entirely convinced about the imprinting thing.
The day was going pretty slowly, not having to sleep means days went extra slowly, at first it seems great but there are not enough activities in the world to keep boredom at bay forever, one of thing things Bella loved to do was read, she loved all the classics, anything by Shakespeare, Chaucer and Bronte. Her tattered paperback copies of the novels sat on the bookshelf; she must have read them at least a 100 times over. It reminded her of when she started dating Edward, well, the courtship process, novels about love have an entire different meaning when you are actually in love.
Sitting down on the couch, Bella put her feet on the coffee table, biting her lower lip she looked at the bookshelf, staring into the space, a smile spread across her face “a trip to the bookshop” she said to herself, getting up off the sofa and walking up to the peg where her jacket was hanging. She wouldn’t really need it, she didn’t feel the cold but of course she had to keep up the human façade, slipping it on she unlatched the door and stepped outside, it was particularly windy which meant having long hair wasn’t the best idea. Shutting the door, she popped her key in and locked it. Putting her hood up once the key was safely back in her pocket.
The bookshop was only down the road from where Bella lived, infact pretty much everything was within walking distance which always killed a little time. The wind was fierce on Bella’s face, if she was still human she was convinced her face would be stinging! The walk only took a couple of minutes, water stones was a fairly new bookshop, quite modern with a coffee place just next door. Walking through the electric doors, Bella put her hood down to reveal her hair, which was surprisingly ok looking considering the typhoon weather outside! Letting out a sigh, she walked over towards the back of the store, there wasn’t a particular book she was looking for it was nice to get out and actually do something. Bella turned the corner swiftly and found herself in the poetry section, as well as being a novel lover, Bella was partial to some poetry too, her favourite being Whitman or tenneson.
Grabbing a book she smiled at the cover “Modern day classics a collection of Whitman” She walked over and sat down on one of the sofa’s flicking the cover open she started reading from the first page, this definitely beat staying at home…

being raised in cold weather areas was something connor could deal with knowing it wasn't something he minded. he couldn't feel anymore nor did he care knowing most humans he meet were those that went to school with reneesme. he knew that before hand he never went out much just lurked at parties and from afar watching them interact with each other. though not long ago the volturi told him of one of the cullens falling in love with a human of all things that showed great powers if turned vampire. naturally connor put together easily that this human was isabella cullen, who was now a reformed vampire into the cullen coven. also she bared a child before being turned causing the guard more troubles than the family was worth. the guard complained of how much the cullens have became a problem and naturally the galloways were just all yet bitter of them leaving though connor himself didn't hold bella nor reneesme responsible knowing back then neither of them were around.
the irish wolf pack seemed to know of the threat knowing that reneesme's so called boy friend was in it. he had heard rumors of the cullens traveling with a wolf known for being the alpha of one of the packs back in the states but he didn't think they would bring the mut over to ireland were he could join them and be told everything. though it seemed the galloway's plan was still solid knowing that carlisle trusted the family over the pack of wolves, though it was also something to do with the fact edward cullen could no longer detect their lies. he was something about being older than the boy knowing that patrick taught the whole family to adapt though connor knew that his mind wondered easily specially thanks to a special someone in the cullen home. though he wasn't sure how to approach the situation anymore knowing jacob black was the only thing in his way but he couldn't help but to think maybe he could eventually be with nessie in the end.
it was hard to explain knowing connor had only briefly read up on the werewolves buying as much books as he could with money but that could only get you so far. he would eventually need to talk to carlisle knowing jacob black wasn't going to live forever like the rest of his family. he would eventually get old and die knowing that his wife or true love was forever seventeen, connor knew turning a werewolf was out of the question mainly because of the whole fact that it was just barbaric and that the blood didn't mix. the werewolf blood pushed the vampire venom out of the body. at least that was from some of the old scrolls that the guard let him read knowing that the only way they would be able to take down the cullens was if they had the trust and loyalty of the galloway family. connor knew using the guard for something like that wasn't key but he didn't see the harm in getting close to nessie though his family thought differently knowing that connor could eventually slip up.
moving around his bed room he moved through the books trying to figure out one he hadn't read knowing painting was something he did all the time but he wanted to read up on something anything new. deciding to go to the bookstore he became custom to going into the town knowing during the day it wasn't so bad knowing that he wore a pair of glasses before going because he didn't both with contacts that would eventually just dissolve in their eyes. he changed into some new clothes before heading out of his window landing on the ground and going to his car that was nice compared to some of the people around town. driving to the bookstore he parked his car before moving inside the store knowing that he just drank blood so he would be good for a while though at times he did have urges he would simply just have to resist. walking through the isle he let his hand run along the edge of each book while he searched for a new book to read.
reaching the sofa he saw a girl he had known for just a short amount of time. sitting down in a chair next to the sofa he looked at her before turning his head to the side and examining her body. he was wearing sunglasses inside knowing it wasn't something normal people did but he wasn't normal now was he. sitting straight up he leaned back, "even ms. cullen. how are you this fine evening?" connor wasn't sure what the cover story was for the family knowing he wasn't sure who was related to who because in his mind it was all just a big mess.
