baby don't you know i suffer how long until you let me go. painting was something connor had always found calming for some unknown reason not knowing the true reason of it. though his passion was sketching a person out on paper though he couldn't get the sun to hit them just right knowing that he would sparkle if he went into the sunlight, unlike what most humans thought. he thought they were so stupid at times to think humans actually exploded into flames if they stepped into sunlight. he laughed at the thought knowing humans to him were interesting specially about how much they talked about hilter and the war knowing he from time to time talked to humans about it but it was just a random human that stumbled upon him. unlike the cullens he couldn't attend school knowing he wouldn't be able to control himself like the cullens could because of his self control that he had around humans. he knew if he was hungry enough he would attack them which was why he would have to go feeding before he went to meet reneesme today.
he wasn't sure what it was but the girl just amused him knowing she was so young compared to him, and well the cullens were natural friends of his family. or so they wanted them to believe and connor was forced to follow along knowing his loyalties weren't to the cullens after all. he enjoyed the company of each other it was edward he was worried about the most knowing he avoided him as much as possible knowing he could read minds though patrick taught them how to give him wrong messages. connor found it easy though he had to focus on it knowing if he was talking to reneesme he tended to become a bit scattered brain knowing he had to get to the core as of why she liked jacob so much better than someone of her own kind. he didn't want to think about the situation knowing he needed to go head before the school let out. he set down the sketch pad, before running into the next town and waiting in the forest for someone to walk by. he could smell the blood on the man's clothes from killing someone and the sirens not far away. connor wasn't sure if he was really a good guy or bad guy just yet but to put his mind at ease he told himself he was good. jumping in front of the man he grinned, "i wouldn't do that if i were you." the man stood there looking at connor before coming after him was his knife. connor moved to the side causing the man to fall of the small rock they were standing on before connor attacked him. he mauled him before draining his blood, he heard the voices getting closer and he wiped his mouth on the mans shirt before heading back towards dublin. he was full for at least a few days knowing that he would be around humans more now that he went to get reneesme but it was worth it knowing he could spend a while with her before her family would steal her away.
he got into his car before driving down the back roads of his house to the school were the family currently attended. he wasn't sure what the point of going to school was knowing that well connor was just as brilliant as one of them though it was complicated knowing he had the internet to at his will and searched it all the time knowing that there was nothing to do knowing that homework wasn't something he could do. parking his car in front of the school he had a few minutes to spare knowing that he got there a few minutes early all the time. he got out and leaned on the car before pulling out a cigarette and lit it before slowly puffing on it. it was mostly for his imagine knowing to many he was some bad boy, but cigarettes didn't do anything to him.

E I G H T S E C O N D S & L E F T I N O V E R T I M E SHE’S ON YOUR MIND, SHE’S ON YOUR MIND - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
There were somedays that Renesmee was thrilled to go to school. She would learn something new, be challenged, make a new human friend… While there were so many things she’d already learned (such as Spanish and a majority of the topics they studied in English) there were also so many new things she could learn, like History. She was even going to try out for the school play. It was such a human, normal thing – she was thrilled that she was going to have the opportunity to try out for it. There were other days, though, that Nessie had to wonder why she even came to school. There were some things she already knew, and it just bored her. She was an eager, bright eyed girl, if not a little quiet, and she liked to have something to do with her time. Otherwise there could be disastrous consequences.
She’d walked out of the house that morning, looked upwards at the outcast-gray sky, and knew with every inch of her being that it was just going to be one of those days. She was physically old enough to drive on her own – she had the driver’s permit to prove it – but she had driven to school with her family that day. The car ride there had been quiet – she had simply looked out the window and watched the rolling green hills fly by, and the forest whip past her vision. It was green, like Forks, but Nessie knew that the rest of her family and friends were back home. And when they finally returned to Forks? Well, they’d all be gone. And that was a very, very depressing thought to the young hybrid. She and her mother weren’t used to that kind of thing – the other Cullens were probably more accustomed to never seeing the people they’d come to know again after they left. Nessie had found herself wondering, as she left the car and scooted off to her homeroom, if maybe it would be different for all of them, this time, considering all of the bonds that her mother had caused them to make with the citizens of Forks, Washington.
Her classes had dragged on, and on, and on. By the time lunch had come around, she was all but falling asleep in her chair, which she could actually do, thanks to her human half. The teachers rarely called on her because she was sort of just there in the back of the classroom. Nessie didn’t talk as much as was expected by most of society. When she did talk, it was only to humans. Sure, she could chatter away to someone, but it wouldn’t be nearly as eloquent as her thoughts. The girl was just getting used to really speaking out loud – she’d always been around a group of people who she could just touch to express her feelings or needs. Here was different. The first week of school, her first impression, had failed miserably as she had been too keen on NOT using her gift to actually concentrate on speaking aloud. This stuff wasn’t second nature to her – her gift was. So she’d gotten a slow start on making friends.
The rest of the day had been decent. Someone had invited her to sit at a lunch table, and she’d talked there. Renesmee was confident that she would eventually make friends – she was a charmer, after all. But she didn’t want to wait to be able to make friends, and she didn’t want to have to “learn to talk” so that she could comfortably be around humans and socialize. It was one of the reasons she’d rather be a human or a vampire and not both. She wanted to fit into one world or the other, not get stuck awkwardly in between the two. It was maddening. Nessie had slept through the period after lunch, and dozed fitfully during her last period, so she was slightly groggy when someone poked her awake at the end of class. The girl’s name was Erin – a very stereotypical Irish girl, with Irish red hair and an Irish name to match – and she was the girl who had invited Renesmee to sit at her lunch table. She was taller than Nessie and had all but dragged Renesmee out of the classroom before stopping her outside the classroom and giving her a good look-over. “Are you sick?” she’d asked, and Nessie had shook her head. Erin had looked doubtful, and that’s why she was currently walking the Cullen girl out of the school.
“So you’re new?” she was chatting, and Renesmee was using this as an opportunity to figure out how normal people talked. She’d never faced this dilemma.
“Yes,” she replied. “We came from Washington.”
“Where the President of the US lives?” asked Erin, causing Renesmee to laugh. This was what being social was? It took a bit, but she’d get the hang of it.
“Nope,” smiled Nessie, scanning the parking lot for her ride home. “We’re the boring Washington. “
Both girls shared a quick laugh before Renesmee caught a glimpse of the person she was looking for. “Aha,” she said, pointing out Connor to Erin. “That’d be my ride.”
Erin had gawked for a moment, and then nodded, saying a quick goodbye before scurrying off. Nessie approached Connor with a quirked brow, surveying the smoker with interest. So he was smoking? Nessie didn’t see the point. She could smell his cigarette fumes, though, and they were making her sick. Waving her hand in front of her to clear the smoke, she tugged on the end of a bronze-brown curl before speaking.
“Put that out,” she said impatiently. “You’re making me sick. Smoking? I thought you were above that.” Nessie furrowed her brow for a few more seconds before her face broke out into a smile and she giggled. Without waiting for instructions or an invitation, Nessie crossed to the other side of the car and let the door swing wide. Settling herself into the seat, she shut the door gently before looking to see what Connor was doing.

baby don't you know i suffer how long until you let me go. to connor everyone was just a little be odd compared to him knowing that the cullens weren't the average vampire, and the humans were just a bigger mystery him all together. he couldn't understand how they could be so clueless to the things around them knowing that it was just apart of life, though he should know better. vampires weren't something most humans could put their finger on and well he knew when he went to eat a human they just stared at him in amazement. he was something of beauty to most knowing humans for some unknown reason were just naturally drawn to their beauty but he wasn't around humans enough to know why or anything. though that was a question he would have to ask carlisle the next time he was over.
he could go to the cullen house as freely as he wanted through he knew that esme would be the only one home during school hours. he enjoyed the woman's caring nature and found it interesting how the family was so different than the galloway's. he knew that they had a motherly figure and father figure were as connor only had patrick who was just a prick at times but took connor in. he couldn't speak ill of the man knowing he didn't have to save the boy, and well connor was surprised that he didn't drain him knowing that he was somewhat grateful but wasn't completely sure. he knew that his blood thirst wouldn't be very good dealing with the things carlisle did at the hospital knowing he had a lot of respect for the man working with the amount of blood and humans he did. connor wasn't ever going to be able to do that knowing he ate off of so many humans he would find it very hard to be around them.
he knew carlisle tried to change the family before but they refused and now connor wondered if he did change if that would give him a better chance with nessie. though her dog would be in the way and he didn't want to put a wedge in between the two knowing there was already one forming with the fact he knew of the vampires plans but couldn't prove it. connor wouldn't talk about it knowing he would just glare at the wolf knowing he couldn't understand how they could bear the stench they gave off but let them do as they wish knowing he just enjoyed anytime he spend with nessie though at times he felt that edward and bella were overprotective of her way to much from time to time.
looking at the girl he dragged on his cigarette knowing his distance of hearing was better than hers. he looked at her before pushing his body off the car as she walked toward him. he looked at her friend who was walking over to a pack of friends and began there whispers. looking at nessie he raised his eyebrows at her before shrugging lightly and flicking the cigarette away from him. "above what smoking? it's not like it can kill me though it might be enough to kill you." he grinned at her lightly before watching her get into the car, but his attention was on the group of girls before smiling lightly and getting into the cars. "i think your girl friends will have something to talk to you about tomorrow." he looked at nessie before shifting his car into gear before speeding off down the road knowing neither of them bothered with the seat belts because he was a good driver, and couldn't be hurt. though he had been warned not to hurt her because she wasn't fully vampire which was something connor somewhat wondered if could be changed into a full vampire. though she could actually feel things. "how was school today miss cullen?"

E I G H T S E C O N D S& L E F T I N O V E R T I M E SHE’S ON YOUR MIND, SHE’S ON YOUR MIND - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - "Above what smoking? It's not like it can kill me though it might be enough to kill you."
Nessie rolled her eyes. She doubted it would kill her, but it could certainly make her cough. She had a dislike of people who smoked, but then, Connor was also a very good friend, and it wasn’t like he was killing himself with smoking… Besides, she didn’t mind that much, and she knew she wasn’t going to be the one to change his mind about it. It wasn’t like she could preach to him that he was hurting those around him with secondhand smoke… It wasn’t the cigarette smoke that was killing them, after all. Settling deeper into the car, she looked out the window, staring at the students crowding around the entrance of the school, all talking and smiling. So normal. So human. She wished she could be like that and not half like that. That had always bothered her, being a part of two worlds…
The interior of the car was actually quite nice – well, not to say that she hadn’t expected it to be nice, as most vampire’s she’d come across who owned vehicles tended to have very nice, very fast ones… It was just that Renesmee had come to love the color and texture of the cars seats. It wasn’t as comforting as the smell of the cottage in Forks, or sitting at the edge of the cliffs in La Push… it ranked around fifth of comforting things that Nessie could find in Dublin. She wasn’t the happiest camper since she’d moved to Dublin with her family, but having a friend like Connor, and a family like hers to have around made the move so much easier. Sure, she didn’t very much like Ireland (nor its wildlife – what, was she supposed to live off of badgers or something?) but being surrounded by people she enjoyed being around made things a lot better, rather than… worse. She didn’t want to be upset all the time. She knew that she was keeping Jacob unhappy, but really, she didn’t know what she’d do if he weren’t around. She was a selfish being at best, Nessie deemed bitterly as she waited for the car to roll out of the parking lot. As Connor shifted the vehicle into gear, he continued;
"I think your girl friends will have something to talk to you about tomorrow. How was school today, Miss Cullen?”
Talking this much was exhausting her, so Nessie glanced at Connor before pressing her hand against his cheek and letting her day flash through her head. First period, how awful it’d been, boring old Spanish. What a way to start her day, with something she was already quite fluent in, thanks to her family and the countless books the family owned. Spanish was something she’d picked up on quite easily. Second period hadn’t been so bad, she remembered lightly. It had been History, and she had paid close attention, but didn’t quite feel like reliving the whole period. She skipped third and fourth, unwilling to admit that she had slept through both periods (thankfully, the bell had jolted her awake both times) focusing more on lunch – what she ate, how it tasted, how she would have rather hunted… what the girls talked about, how Erin had been delighted Renesmee had accepted her invitation to sit… She really is nice, though Renesmee, pausing her thoughts and allowing a close up of Erin to occupy her thoughts. She would have glanced at Connor quickly, but she wanted to get on with the rest of her day. The periods after lunch were half-way decent… She’d had math, something she had always enjoyed… Gym was second to last period, and it had simply been health testing – Renesmee had aced it, really. She’d been able to do the most pushups in a minute, obviously, and had been able to do more than the standard five pull-ups… It had all been rather simple, leaving her tired enough, however, to doze through English, where they were covering Romeo and Juliet. The teacher didn’t call on her, so Nessie had allowed herself to daydream and eventually drift off a little before being shaken awake by Erin.
Removing her palm from Connors cheek, she shrugged as she looked at him, then returned to the window. “It was dull,” she said offhandedly, as though to add to the vivid, slightly edited description of her day. She hadn’t learned anything new, and so she was sort of bummed out, but then, when did she really learn something that she hadn’t already known? Drumming her fingers on the edge of the window, she watched as the green foliage flew by her window. “How was your day?” she asked curiously. Because really, if there wasn’t school, and Nessie wasn’t positive, but she was pretty sure he was unemployed, what was there to do all day other than lay around and wait until something interesting happened?
